This visual is a picture is King George III, because without impeachment, our nation could be run by a traitor or criminal who could seriously damage our country. Impeachment ensures the citizens a leader who is treating their country and citizens properly, but without it, our country could be stuck with another President similar to King George III .
Our Constitution allows the President or other federal officials to be impeached, or thrown out of office, if they commit a "high crime". Crimes such as treason, bribery, and many other high offending crimes can result in Presidents, Vice Presidents, and other high ranking officials to be impeached. Impeachment after a President or Vice President has committed an appalling crime is extremely important, so ensure that our county is also run by rulers who have good intensions for the United States. I chose to change this Section, and abolished the law to allows impeachment. If this change had been made to the Constitution, it would extremely negatively affect our nation. It would allow an extremely powerful person in our country to be making harmful decisions, affecting every single state. If a President or Vice President that was currently ruling committed a terrible crime, possibly dangering our entire country. A ruler with a purpose to harm our country would be one of the most powerful people in the nation, until their term was expired. This issue would stay fairly quiet and calm, until a dangerous leader was elected who committed a crime during office. Then, our country would be left with a leader who could possibly have negative intensions for our country, and we would have no way to remove them from office. If the leader chose to harm our county by creating outrageous laws, any areas he hurt would be affected the most, but the whole nation would be extremely terrified. However, because our government has established a system of checks and balances, this system could dampen the negative effects. This system ensures that no one branch can dominate, so in this case, the Legislative and Judicial branches would balance the negative power in the Executive branch.
